Every year, The Silicon Valley Business Journal awards the top 100 most influential women in Silicon Valley with a Woman of Influence Award. This year, the NOVA Workforce Board’s Director Kris Stadelman has been selected to receive a Woman of Influence Award. Director Stadelman has worked hard to keep NOVA operating through a particularly difficult state and federal budget time, and it’s gratifying to see her efforts recognized in this way. Congratulations, Kris!
NOVA is one of two workforce boards that operate in Santa Clara County, providing workforce training and employment and career assistance to seven of the county’s 15 cities, funded entirely by state and federal grant money, and administered by the City of Sunnyvale (as the largest of the seven cities).
